Andy Alo, Congo
Focus of Studies: Andy is currently working on a translation of Biblical Metaphors into one of the languages of the Congo. His has entered the dissertation phase of his program, and hopes to make a trip to Europe or South Africa for further research. About Andy: Andy is part of the faculty development program at NEGST and will join the Translation Studies department upon graduation. He is encouraged by steps toward stabilization in D.R. Congo, his home. Family: Andy and his wife, Yvette have three children and have adopted their niece and nephew. Their family now includes Elie, 11 years old; Josue, 9 years old; Bernadette, 7 years old; Jordan, 9 years old; Gedeon, 7 years old. Prayer Request: Andy asks for continued prayer for his work and his family. The children have resumed school, and this is a busy and financially challenging time for the family.
