David Ngaruiya, Kenya
Focus of Studies: Coming from a context in which death is a much more common and less distant occurrence, David believes that he can help people cope with the experience of death in Africa. David’s field research is completed and he is now in the writing phase of his dissertation, which focuses on a “theology of death for the living.” About David: David serves on the faculty at Nairobi International School of Theology (NIST), which is run by Campus Crusade for Christ. Upon his return, he will chair their missions department. In addition to completing his studies, like all Campus Crusade staff, David will then need to raise funds that cover his housing and living expenses. Family: David and his wife, Annie Wanjiku Kimiri, have two children—Wangari Kimiri, 21 years old and Wairimu Kimiri, 18 years old. Prayer Requests: David needs prayer that he can successfully complete and defend his dissertation. Additionally, he needs God’s provision for good health, wise time management, and anointing as he begins teaching in ministry. Email: dngaruiya@yahoo.com Attached Documents
