Studies: PRODALA South America; Class of 2010

Focus of Studies: The PRODALA program is a consortium effort of several schools in Latin America that allows leaders to remain in ministry while pursing their doctorates. Modular courses meet for short periods several times during the year, each at a different place in Central and South America. David is currently finishing two papers: “Spirituality and Mission” and “Mission ‘in’ and ‘from’ Latin America.” He is in research for this purpose.

About David: David is in the PRODALA PhD program and progressing well. He is encouraged on many fronts and grateful for the new support from CISF. David exemplifies the kind of leaders attracted by PRODALA—a gifted scholar with a heart for the church. He is currently the Dean of the IFET seminary in Buenos Aires as well as a Presbyterian pastor.

Family: David and his wife, Debora Joanna Gamarra, have one young daughter, Sophia.
