Emmanuel Ogunyemi, Nigeria
Focus of Studies: He focused on helping the church mobilize in response to the AIDS epidemic. His research showed a continued lack of knowledge among many church leaders regarding the transmission and prevalence of HIV/AIDS. Accomplishments: Emmanuel has served as Academic Dean at West African Theological Seminary in Lagos, Nigeria. He has a great passion for seeing the church take the lead in the battle against AIDS in Africa. In addition to his dissertation, Emmanuel has founded a ministry called Life Builders focused on AIDS education and mobilization for the church and on the care for AIDS orphans in Nigeria. Family: Emmanuel and his wife, Blessing, have four children—Becky, Mercy, Glory, and Victor. Attached Documents
