G.K. Nang, India

Focus of Studies: Rev. Nang is a senior leader in the Zomi Baptist Church in the Nagaland area of India, which borders Myanmar (Burma). This year he will be in India, conducting research and developing lay leadership courses that he will teach during the continuation of his research.

About Rev. Nang: Reverend Nang has completed about 50% of his coursework and will spend this year in India as part of the design of his program at Fuller. He was scheduled to begin research in Myanmar, but is waiting for hostilities to subside so that he can obtain a visa and cross the border.

Family: G.K. and his wife have three children—Ching Biak Sang, 20 years old; Cing Ngaih Vung, 11 years old; Huai Ngaih Mang, 9 years old. They also care for three orphans—Samuel Nang Sian Khual, 13 years old; Hang Sian Pau, 11 years old ;Vung Hoih Kim, 9 years old.

Prayer Requests: Rev. Nang requests prayer that he may be able to travel to Myanmar to collect research materials on time.
