Often in today's media, our imaginations are saturated with images of suffering, corruption, injustice and violence in much of the rest of the world. Thus, the mission of the church is often perceived as one of how we, as Western Christians, might go and offer our help to the poor and oppressed. In reality, the Majority World is surprisingly filled with the presence and glory of God.
In this seminar, we will explore what we can learn about what God is already doing in these regions and how we can participate in that work. We will be encouraged to listen attentively to God in the voices and hearts of people in other parts of the world, a world that is very different from our own.
