How To Get Involved with CISF

HOW YOU MIGHT HELP…

Participation in CISF is a way to learn about the changing world church, get to know remarkable men and women, and help build God’s Kingdom.

The CISF Board:  Board members provide a substantial share of CISF income and cover all administrative costs of the organization. They choose scholars, support them personally, raise funds, set strategy and maintain relationships with schools. They select and invite new board members.

CISF Associate:  Significant supporters who do not wish to commit to Board participation, or those who want to get to know CISF better prior to accepting a Board invitation, may choose to participate as a “CISF Associate ”.

Financial Support:  Annual schoarship support ranges from $10-20,000 per year for each CISF scholar, depending on the individual and the institution. Because the CISF board covers administrative costs, all contributions fund scholarships.

Endowments:  CISf has establsished several endowed scholarships.   These funds provide a strategic way to invest in CISF as they will generate enough income to fund scholarships for their desginated purposes on an ongoing basis.  We have 4 funds already established and looking for additional permanent funding. It is also possible to open a new permanent fund. [*]

Assist:   When families come to the US, they need help in many ways to adapt and thrive. Board members and other volunteers are privileged to assist and get to know these exceptional families.

PrayFor current scholars: for their families and for excellence in their studies.
- For graduates and their work in their homeland.
- For the world church especially in China, Africa and Brazil.
- For the work and wisdom of CISF.
