Middle East Trip Reading

I have asked Salim for a suggestion on something to read before coming.   Please do not feel you have to read any of these (there will be no tests, quizzes, etc.), but if you would like a little more background on the church today in the Middle East here are a couple of suggestions.

For those who are looking for shorter versions, I have also attached two articles (in one .pdf).  One is from Gary Burge and was written before the book listed below.  The other is from CISF scholar, Yohanna Katanacho, and is an academic article he wrote about the land.
