Rose Mukansenigmana, Rwanda

Focus of Studies: Rose is working on a New Testament degree, with a focus on the role of women in building peace in the context of post-genocidal Rwanda. She is looking to build a biblical rationale to encourage women in their role as peacemakers.

About Rose: Rose and her husband, Eraste Nyrimana teach at West African Theological Seminary in Lagos, Nigeria. She and Eraste continue to hope their ministry will lead them back to Rwanda. However, for now, they must serve in other areas of the continent because of ongoing racial tensions (Rose is Tutsi, her husband Hutu). Rose also one of the team of the parish preachers at her church in South Africa.

Family: Rose and her husband, Eraste Nyrimana, have seven teen and adult children: Esdras Tuyishime, Josias Unesha, John Wesley Iyokwizerwa, Fidele Niyidukunda, Benjamin Namahoro, Beni-Theophile Ikulina and Nadia Umuneza.

Prayer Requests: Rose asks for prayer for her health. She also asks for prayer for her family and for her school, WATS which has had financial challenges lately.
