Timothy Nyasulu, Malawi

Studies: Trinity Evangelical Divinity School; Class of: 2010

Focus of Studies: Timothy’s research will focus on a passage in 1 Corinthians, looking at the use and abuse of church discipline in the Malawian context.

About Timothy: Timothy serves as the dean for Zomba Theological College in Malawi. His family remains in Africa while he pursues his studies. Last year, Timothy transferred from the ThS program to Intercultural Studies. He has found the transition a good one as he makes progress on his program. Timothy spent much of the summer back in Malawi visiting his family and attending to ministry at Zomba Theological College.

Family: Timothy and his wife, Brenda, have five children—Khwima, Vitumbiko,  Andrew, Grace and Brian.

Prayer Requests: Timothy needs prayer for coping with the extended separation from his family. Additionally, he requests prayers for his studies and for his college—Zomba Theological College.
