Valeria Maria Santos, Brazil

Studies: PRODALA (PROgramma Doctoral LatinoAmericano), Brazil; Class of 2009.

Focus of Studies: Valeria is currently in the conclusion of her First Tutorial, in which she deals with the theme "The Woman’s Route in the Presbyterian Church in Brazil". Her research focuses on the role of the spouse in the ministry of the Brazilian pastor to the congregation, and to the pastor’s family.

About Valeria: Valeria is part of the faculty at South American Theological Seminary in Londrina, Brazil and is currently in the second year of her PhD work. She continues to make progress on her degree, and is considered a gifted scholar and leader among the students.

Family: Valeria and her husband, Arthur, have a son, Joao Arthur, who is 7 years old. 

Prayer Requests: Valeria seeks prayer for God's wisdom and grace to conclude her tutorial assignments and dissertation. Additionally, she asks for prayers for her ministry as a professor and spiritual chaplain, and that her health and that of her family will remain intact.
